We keep as little as we need to run the tool. Shop owners create a store with a name and a WhatsApp number. We send an OTP to that number so only they can manage the shop.

Store catalog, orders, and chat live with the shop. Customers save addresses on their own phone. When they place an order, the drop address and map pin are sent to that shop so the owner can deliver.

Map pins may be sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim, or to Mappls if the project has a Mappls key, to fill house, area, city, state, and pincode. Road distance may be estimated with open routing data.

We do not sell personal data. Shop owners see the customer name, phone, and drop address for orders they receive. Treat that as you would any order slip.

Optional AI & delivery partners

If we offer AI helpers or delivery‑partner integrations, using them is optional. When you opt in, limited data needed for that feature (for example product text for AI suggestions, or address and phone for a courier booking) may be sent to that provider so the feature can work. We will only share what the feature needs. You can keep using mathondu without those add‑ons.

Ads, fees, and donations

To keep mathondu running we may later show third‑party ads, charge a platform fee, or offer optional donations. Optional AI or delivery‑partner tools may also carry a small fee for those who choose them — never required for basic use. Ads may use limited technical data (for example device or approximate location) through the ad partner’s tools. We will not sell your order or chat content to advertisers. Donations are optional and not required to use the app. If we introduce a fee, we will explain what it covers before it applies.
